Contrast & Texture: The Architectural Living Room

This open-plan living area is a study in volume and materiality, designed to feel both expansive and grounded. The concept uses a sharp, high-contrast palette of black, cream, and deep grey to define functional zones while maintaining a seamless flow. We layered architectural textures—concrete-inspired surfaces for depth, warm timber for balance, and black metal for graphic precision. Strategic ambient lighting was integrated to offer various "atmospheric scenarios" shifting the mood from a bright social hub to an intimate retreat. It is a space where minimalism is expressed through the rigorous control of light and detail.
